The Autumn Wind

23 January 2019

The Autumn Wind

Whistling endlessly amongst the autumn leaves

Swirling in a myriad of wispy ephemeral kisses on the ground which jump from side to side upon the bustling sidewalks

It whispers to kindred spirits with childlike mirth as the feuille morte leaves freely given to the dance, glisten in the sun’s rays

Paving the way for the feast to come as coats and hats are wrapped around those eager to share the delights placed before the Pagan Gods

And still the Autumn Wind pirouettes beneath the dancing feet of the celebration beckoning the Seasons to come join the dance.
